The Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency (MDHA) will open the affordable housing waiting list for Vine Hill Studio Apartments, an elderly and disabled property, on a first-come, first-served basis from noon Feb. 27, 2024, to 3 p.m. March 11, 2024.

In order to qualify for an elderly and disabled property, the head of household must be at least 62 years old or have a disability. In most cases, documentation of the disability is required.

Vine Hill Studio Apartments is located at 625 Benton Ave. in Nashville and features one-bedroom apartments.

Applications will be accepted online only and can be submitted 24 hours a day during the open application period at www.nashville-mdha.org (click on the button that says Apply for Housing). Applicants can locate the application by clicking the button on the large yellow banner at the top of the home page that says Apply Now for Housing or clicking Apply for Housing under the Renters tab on the home page during the open waiting list period. The application process remains the same and will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Applicants will need to register a new username and password and have a valid email address. Once an application is submitted, applicants will receive an email confirming that the application was submitted successfully.

Applicants interested in Vine Hill Studio Apartments who are in need of assistance may call the management office at 615-252-3686 (choose option 3 when prompted) between noon and 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024. In addition, applicants may call MDHA Resident Services Department staff for assistance applying between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday to Friday during the open application period at 615-252-3686, ext. 8603.

Applicants may also visit public libraries to access a computer. All 21 Nashville Public Library locations have public access computers, and neither an appointment nor a library card are necessary to use them. Applicants can visit the library’s website to find the location closest to them.
