The Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency (MDHA) is accepting applications for the 2018 Rental Rehabilitation Loan Program, which is designed to assist Davidson County property owners with rehabilitating substandard properties. The program helps preserve affordable housing by requiring landlords who receive assistance to lease to tenants with incomes at or below 80 percent of the Area Median Income (AMI) at Section 8 Fair Market Rents for a minimum of 10 years.
Assistance will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis, upon receipt of a completed application, and determination of eligibility and priority status, until funding is exhausted.
Applications are now available on MDHA’s website (click here for more information and a link to the application). You may also pick up a copy between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at MDHA’s Community Development Department office at 712 South Sixth St. To receive an application form by mail, request accommodation or language assistance, call 615-252-8530.
